REVVING UP FOR… RADIOTHON 2008!

THE GREAT VOLUNTEER SEARCH BEGINS…
The Calgary Dream Centre is ramping up for our 6th Annual
Radiothon! Join us as we go LIVE on Shine 88.9 FM and other
media. We will be on the air 6 am to 7 pm. We require 125
volunteers in various positions and shifts. Shifts
are only 2 to 4 hours!
BBQ Servers
Cashiers
Pledge/Donation Cashiers
Pledge/Donation Data Entry
Call Centre – Incoming & Outgoing Calls
Clean up crew – Friday Sept 14th too!
Host/Hostess
Information Booth
Janitorial Maintenance
Parking Attendants
Prayer Team

Bus Drivers
Who: Licensed to drive our 14 and 23 Passenger buses
What: For field trips and program related activities
Where: In and out of Calgary
When: Could be days or evenings, some weekends
Program Coaches / Mentors:
Who: Mature Men
What: Act as overseers on outings, friendship & support
Where: At Calgary Dream Centre and on outings
When: Evenings and weekends
Recreational Volunteers:
Who: Persons with sports and athletic backgrounds
What: Lead recreational based programs
Where: Various indoor and outdoor venues
When: Evenings and weekends
Residential / Custodial Assistant:
Who: Person with leadership skills
What: To assist Lynn in oversight of residential duties
Where: Calgary Dream Centre
When: Monday to Friday afternoons
Pay It Forward Volunteers:
Who: Person with leadership skills and valid driver license
What: To assist Tyrone in the oversight of PIF Functions
Where: Calgary Dream Centre and surrounding area
When: Thursday mornings and afternoons
Computer Lab Volunteers:
Who: Persons with basic computer skills and experience
What: To oversee residents when in computer lab
Where: Calgary Dream Centre
When: Weekdays 4:30-10pm, Sat 8am-10pm, Sun 2:30-10pm
"A" Resident Trip Overseers:
Who: Male Volunteers with a vehicle for transportation
What: Transport and Monitor Residents to Appointments
Where: From CDC to Doctors/Clinics, Bank, Agencies, etc. (appointments)
When: Thursday Mornings or afternoons
